Salmon and trout angling | Coarse angling
Monday 26th February to Sunday 4th March 2007.
The River was running at fair levels for the greater part of the week. A small number of anglers fished during the week with most fishing during the weekend. There were 2 salmon reported on Saturday. One was a fish of 10½lb caught from the Blackwater on a Flying ‘C’ spinner and the other a fish of 9lb caught from the Upper Mill Pool on a shrimp.
Lough Melvin was quiet over the week with a limited number of anglers venturing out. There seems to have been little caught and hence little to report.
