Some anglers staying in the Shamrock Inn, Killeshandra fished Aghabawn Lake and report good bags of Roach and Pike, some Pike in Derries and Trinity and plenty of Skimmers and Bream on Leonards Shore. Rockfield is prodicuing good Tench up to 4.5lb.

Tully Lake was fished for two days by two anglers from Cardiff. Good Roach, Hybrids and a few Bream were bagged.

The same anglers fished Carrs Lough for three days and bagged Roach, Hybrids and Pike, also one Tench weighing in at 4.5lb.

The annual Carrigallen Angling Festival took place last week, 76 anglers fished the competition with all venues fishing reasonably well over the four days.
